A graduate of the Management and Production Engineering obtains an advanced knowledge of engineering, manufacturing engineering related to industries: automotive, precision, aerospace, machinery and electrical engineering, including consumer goods, shipbuilding, and printing. This applies in particular to the production, in which automated and high-tech processes use materials (metal forming, casting, plastics processing, welding, machining and non-conventional processing and assembly technologies. Graduate also obtains an advanced knowledge and practical skills in organization and management. One is prepared to run teams and project management institutions, economic and staff in industrial enterprises. Management and Production Engineering is implemented at first and second degree studies. It allows obtaining high qualifications in business, production processes and systems, information systems, economics of production, quality systems, ergonomics, and research and product development. This knowledge allows, among other things, solving problems of technical and economic optimization, planning and business development, building systems and cooperation with domestic and foreign partners. General subjects towards engineering include, for example: foreign languages, psychology and sociology, algebra and mathematical analysis, discrete mathematics, computer science, fundamentals of management, organization and control of production, economics and financial accounting, marketing, operation of machinery and equipment, preparing a new product. Graduates receive education, in both, the organization and management sciences, economics, legal and social, as well as in the field of technical sciences.

II degree studies – Master’s degree majoring in:
Knowledge of design processes, manufacturing techniques, including quality control, automation, and computer surveillance of production and data.
Examples of specialty subjects: modern manufacturing techniques, computer design of materials processing, control of flexible manufacturing systems, product development in the company, quality control in automated manufacturing, operation data.
Knowledge of widely implied computer design: details (2D, 3D), processes and machines. Examples of specialty subjects: design methodology, CAD - ProEngineer, NC machine tool design, CAM - ProEngineer, artificial intelligence.
Expertise in the field of: the organization of production processes, principles of technological and organizational design, production planning and control, organization of business support services (transport, storage, repair, utilities, energy, etc.), logistics, inspection and quality control methods and organizational techniques. Ability to design, implement and manage in the organization of production processes and systems, in particular, service processes and supplies. Ability to work in teams preparing production supervision and operation.
Examples of subjects: modeling of manufacturing systems, laboratory systems, ERP, manufacturing systems design, designing quality management systems, production management, logistics management.
Graduates of the Information Systems Management specialization are prepared to actively participate in projects implementing information systems that support management (ERP, CRM, BI), both in SMEs and large multinational corporations. Graduates receive a unique feature of interdisciplinarity involving the simultaneous purposes of organizational and technological issues of production companies as well as knowledge of issues related to this type of modern computer technology companies. The implemented program of the specialty prepares graduates to take up a good job, in both, Polish and foreign consulting firms that specialize in implementing ERP, CRM, BI as well as among companies that decide to buy this type of software and are looking for employees who will assist them in implementing such an advanced IT solution.
Graduates have the following practical skills:
Subjects lectured in the specialty of Management Information Systems include: Software Engineering, software languages, operating systems, design of information systems management, project management. A modern laboratory with software installed i.e. Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics AX, MS Dynamics CRM and other advanced software from Microsoft and the German company IDS ARIS Scheme was made available to all students of the Faculty.
